Analogy: "Blair Witch" meets "Hostel" meets "Saw", told in the narrative style of Sin City.
Why this Horror Film: With so many horror films out there, what makes this one different? In short, the style it is told in is unique. Following the different killers (most horrors only have 1 or 2 killers, usually male, we have 5, with 2 female), gives the viewer a montage of environments, each exploring a different aspect of the horror genre as a metaphor of reality, be it physical, mental or external pain. Told in the narrative style of Sin City, Pulp Fiction and other ensemble pieces, this is also unique for the Horror genre.
In Horror, it's all about the killer. we have 5! And unlike most horror films, we explore the killers as much as the victims. And like many of the true classics, like the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the film is not based on quantity of blood, but on actual characters.
