Ariel
Although she is deaf, she can lip-read, and can speak though affected. She cares deeply for her younger sister Callie. Ariel takes the world head on, dedicated to becoming a national level athlete; this is her world
In the story, Ariel is picked by the Sniper, but she escapes before reaching the camp. Hunted through the woods, her athleticism keeps her alive until her shoots her in the leg. Devastated, unable to run, and her life as she sees it over, she faces him, unafraid to die. But all is not what it seems with her hunter.

Cast to play Ariel- Imogen Bailey
An accomplished actress, starring in “Man-Thing” and “Feed” (Dir. Brett Leonard) as well as mainstay Australian TV Drama “Home and Away”, Imogen has a wealth of experience. She also got to the final round of “Celebrity Survivor – Vanuatu”, the physical challenges of the role of Ariel will pose no problem. Also one of Australia’s top models, her face instantly recognizable.
The Sniper
A survivor of the 5th Hunt, he wanted revenge on the killers, but couldn’t execute his plan. Traumatised by having to kill, and punished for his reluctance, this time he’s not going to make the same mistakes.
In Ariel, he sees the challenge that the Hunt requires, as an athlete, she is a fast moving target. Not knowing his plans, and understandably believing he wants to kill her, Ariel runs. Chasing her through the woods, his frustration grows as he can’t stop he to tell her he doesn’t want to kill her, but save her.

Chris
He is a geek, an audio-visual society nerd. He fits the image, an aspiring editor, awkward with the ladies. He’s good friends with Callie and Ariel, the reliable guy they call on to help.
In the story, the job he was amazed to get turns into a nightmare. His boss is The Hacker, who chains him to his desk and challenges him to break through firewalls to save his friends. Despite the pain Chris suffers in losing a finger every six minutes, and watching his friends get tormented, he succeeds, thinking his has won. The Hacker has different plans.

Cast to play Chris- Kain O'Keeffe
Starring opposite Geoffrey Rush in the feature “Swimming Upstream”, appearances in the Australian dramas “All Saints” & “Blue Water High”, plus lead roles in 2 TV Series: “The Lost Treasure of Fiji” & “Fireflies”, little more need be said of Kain’s ability. He brings to the role of Chris an intensity that will hold the screen.
The Hacker
A self professed genius (and he may well be too) on computers and anything electronic, The Hacker is the Mastermind’s closest ally, most trusted of all the killers. He holds the files to blackmail any of the killers, and will stab any one of them in the back without hesitation.
He picks Chris as his opponent because he sees the boy as a challenge, skills that might match his own. But he won’t make it easy. The Hunt lasts 60 minutes, and with 10 digits on both hands, he cuts off one every 6 minutes. Then he slits the young man’s throat, because he can.
Cast to play The Hacker - Darren K Hawkins
With roles in “Superman Returns”, “The Matrix”, and “Farscape Peacekeeper Wars” (plus half a dozen other roles), Darren is no stranger to the set of a feature film. He has also recently appeared on TV in “Future Tense”, “The Mystery of Natalie Wood”, “Forensic Investigators”, and “Bastard Boys”. He brings both the evil glare and a whimsical sense of humour to the role.

Callie Clarke & The Inquisitor
Callie
A goth, unafraid to be different. She is smart, yet prone to worry, intensely protective her sister Ariel. A talented artist who draws her nightmares, despite her images, she can’t stand pain.
In the story, Callie is held at the hands of the Inquisitor, who uses hallucinogenic drugs that play on her fears. As the torture increases, Callie will admit to anything and she does. The Inquisitor then leaves her to asphyxiate to death. She breaks her own hand to escape, and must take on killers who do it for fun.

Cast to play Callie - Cassady Maddox Booth
A talented actor and musician, Cass has acted in an array of short films, and the TVMovie “Sum of Existence”, most recently she appeared on stage in “The Crucible”. She brings an innocence in look and style to the role of Callie.
The Inquisitor
This is one very sick woman! In the first Hunt, she destroyed an army veteran, even the Mastermind admires her sadism. Skilled in mental torture, she takes considerable pleasure in the suffering of her victim.
She selects Callie as she believes the violent imagery and her gothic nature means she can take pain, and will be a challenge to break. Using drugs to induce fear, then a threat of death, she breaks the girl, only to discover she greatly underestimated her quarry.
Cast to play The Inquisitor - Sarah Mawbey
Sarah has just completed the full time 2 and a half year course at the Actor’s Centre in Sydney. A very talented newcomer with a striking face, and probing eyes, she possesses a real menace, and the ability to hold the screen without moving.

Sarah
Popular, pretty and a bitch, Sarah has had everything from the moment she appeared in this world. Never has a problem getting guys, she dumps them when they bore her. She takes it all from granted.
In the story, Sarah is picked for the very thing she abuses, her beauty. The killer decimates her, trying to make her scream. But she finds an inner strength within herself, a change that provokes the sympathy in her as she views the man destroying her with pity. She dies with dignity, at peace with herself.

Cast to play Sara - Olivia Solomons
Trained from an early age, Olivia brings a mastery of the craft to the screen, adding her own touches to each role she plays. She’s done dozens of short films, usually playing the lead, as well as roles in the features “Sum of Existence” & “I Wish I Were Stephanie V”. She can just as easily play the terrified victim, or the bitch!
The Knife
Scarred for most of his adult life, the Knife is used to people viewing him with fear. His left eye cut out, he is a scary image. He kills solely with a blade, getting great pleasure out of the cries of his victims.
In Sarah, he sees beauty he can never hope to have, and decides to eradicate it. What he never factors in is that she won’t scream, and her sympathy enrages him. Even as she dies, she won’t give him what he wants. In the end, he dies on his own blade.
Cast to play The Knife - Malcom Frawley
A veteran of stage, with strong performances on screen in Roll Over and Sum of Existence, TV appearances in Out There and others plus a plethora of lead roles in short films, Mal can portray vicious with consummate ease. He is a very intimidating presence on screen.

Ricky
A ‘little’ man, angry and bitter at the world. He thinks otherwise. He figures he’s God’s gift to women, and treats them with the contempt that he actually feels for himself, needing their love to love himself.
In the story, he is tempted by a beautiful strange woman, only to wake up in the camp, facing her. He figures he can beat any woman, but she is more than a match for him, reducing him to a wreck of a human, the only way out is to kill himself.

Cast to play Ricky – Matthew Charleston
Most recently, Matt starred in a TV Pilot “Acting Out”. This adds to his credits in “All Saints”, “Australian’s at War”, “Water Rats” and “Reapers”. He also starred in the award winning feature “Two Door Mansion” and has a plethora of short films under his belt.
The Hand
Beauty is at its most deceptive with The Hand. The daughter of the Mastermind, he has trained her to kill without ever breaking the skin, with skilful use of pressure points.
She picks Ricky to punish him, to show him that his treatment of women is a reflection of his own self-worth. As she subjects him to invisible but excruciating pain, she pushes him mentally towards killing himself, which ultimately he does. Sent by her father to check on one of the other killers, she is about to get a surprise!
Cast to play The Hand – Tasneem Roc
Tas has been working steadily since 1998 when she starred in the TV series “Heartbreak High”. Since then, she’s appeared in “Head Start”, “Dream Team” (SkyTV UK) and is headlining the soon to be released TV Mini-Series “East West 101”.

The Mastermind
A psychologist who used to work with the Army, he now runs what he calls The Hunt. Comprised of old army buddies, his group practice their killing skills on innocent victims picked for the ability to survive. While he studies them all.
He doesn’t directly involve himself in the killing, just observing as the victims die, making his notes. To his surprise, the victims fight back in this hunt, and he has to come out and fight for himself… not that he minds at all. He knows he’ll win!

Cast to play The Mastermind - Chris Galletti
A veteran of film, with roles in “Sum of Existence”, “Stephanie V”, “BMX Bandits”, and the award winning “Wrong Answer”, Chris bring wisdom and presence to the screen. On TV, he has appeared in shows over the past 2 decades including “All Saints”, “Water Rats”, “Sons and Daughters”, and the TVMovie “Robbery”.
